Play Therapy is an evidence based treatment modality that allows children to express their feelings through toys rather than words. Play is a critical part of expression for children. Play is their language and toys are their words. Play relieves stress and boredom, connects us to others, inspires creative thinking, regulates our feelings, and boosts our self esteem. PLAY THERAPY

Teenagers benefit from a variety of treatment modalities, including activity therapy, expressive arts, talk therapy and sandtray therapy. We help teens learn to effectively express their feelings, build self esteem, and identify positive coping skills.

Pre-Teen & Teen Therapy

We help parents understand, connect and support their kids. Adults can benefit form various treatment approaches to best suite their needs. Parents benefit from receiving their own support. We offer resources, recommendations, and support during the difficult times of parenthood. We also offer parent consultations for clients who children are in CCPT (Child Centered Play Therapy) to support connection and nurture between Clients and their parents.

Parenting Seminars are offered to increase parent knowledge on their specific child development. This is a monthly event that aids parents in understanding their child’s behaviors and connecting with them on a deeper level.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is a unique treatment modality for all ages that addresses trauma or emotionally charged event. Its a unique evidence-based treatment approach that helps the body and brain heal emotional distress caused by painful life experiences. EMDR can be used with children, teens, and adults.
